Tokyoplastic
If you are looking for some truly impressive flash animation Tokyoplastic would be a good place to start. From the early days of Drum Machine to there full animated short The Electric Koi.
Tokyoplastic has come from humble beginnings in fact Andi and Sam, both self trained artists have learnt pretty much all they know about flash and 3D animation during the production of the first Tokyoplastic site. As a result of this the site took about a year to complete, however there is no sign of lack of knowledge in any part of the site. There starting animations have superb timing, sound and movement with small bites of humour. The simplistic drawing of these first cartoons created a strong identity with a number of iconic characters that are now found sold as figures and on t-shirts across the net.
Even in the early days the Tokyo Plastic site was a hit propelling them into the world of advertising. According them this is both a blessing and a curse in equal measures, however this means that a lot of there work has been seen around on TV and the net. Along with there advertising work there has also been work for film and MTV, but some of there most stunning work is there own animations such as Electric Koi and The Praying Machine. At times there site is a little hard work to get around but it is all worth it to see some of this stunning work.
