Weebls-Stuff
Weebl and Bob have been an internet hit for years now. First of they gave us the beloved pie animation, from there we got Magical Trevor, Badger badger badger, Kenya and many others.
Jonathan "Jonti" Picking or Weebl as he is known on the site was born on 17 of May 1975 in Doncaster and along with Chris Vick his co writer he has created a web sensation that has been picked up by TV advertising such as yell.com. Jonti is a trained sound engineer and artist who has done 3D work for Resident evil film, Jonti is also part of the production company Sumo Dojo used the Weebl cartoon as part of a advertising campaign for anchor butter in 2004.
After its first showing in 2002 the weebl and bob animations have become a cult icon. With now over 120 episodes, the first of which alone has over 2.5 million hits now has a DVD out called Wobbl and Bob (name change after fears that the Hasbro company would sue over there 1970s toy weebles) it would seem that this simple fun animation is here to stay for many years still.
